About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Site Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at E.S. Fox Limited. As a key member of our Nuclear Services Division, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and monitoring our site-specific quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct supervision of QA and QC site personnel, supporting construction activities;
  • Oversight of inspection, test, and procedure (ITP) development, approval, and execution, including record maintenance;
  • Oversight of calibration programs and maintenance of associated records;
  • Supporting and participating in internal and external audit activities for the site location;
  • Supporting on- and off-site source surveillance activities;
  • Root cause investigation and apparent cause analysis;
  • Ensuring compliance with codes, standards, or other requirements (e.g., ASME Section I, III, VIII, IX, B31.1, B31.3; CSA N285, N299, N286, W59, B51; ESA, ISO 9001);
  • Ensuring responsibilities and accountabilities are conducted in a safe manner in accordance with E.S. Fox Limited's safety policy and procedures, as well as OHSA requirements;
  • Ensuring environmental aspects within your sphere of responsibility are adhered to.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in quality, engineering, or C.E.T. preferred;
  • Ten (10) or more years of firsthand QA/QC experience, with intimate knowledge of various QA procedures, processes, and protocols;
  • Five (5) or more years of QA/QC experience in the nuclear industry;
  • Five (5) years in a management or supervisory role;
  • Experience in construction is an asset;
  • Experienced and conversant with pressure vessel/piping construction or fabrication requirements of ASME Section I, III, VIII, and pressure piping and components to ASME B31.1 and B31.3; CSA B51; CSA N285;
  • Working knowledge of CSA N286; CSA N299, CSA W59, ESA, ISO 9001;
  • Familiar with electrical and mechanical civil inspection and NDE techniques.
