About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Sensible Insurance & Financial Services Ltd. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced office environment.
  • Work Hours: 40 to 60 hours per week.
