Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior HVAC Technician to join our team at Reliance Home Comfort. As a Junior HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including water heaters, furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioners.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems, using technical knowledge and diagnostic tools.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians and support staff to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card and Class 5 driver's license required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair, or related field.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
