About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Reliance Home Comfort. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our customers' HVAC equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service and repair HVAC equipment, including water heaters, furnaces, and air conditioners, in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to identify potential issues and prevent equipment failures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Completed a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
  • 1-3 years of field experience in service of HVAC equipment, an asset.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and standby duties as required.
  • Physical ability to perform all work required of this position, including occasional lifting of 15 kg up to shoulder height.
