Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Develop well-planned competitive schedules and programs that align with the centre's goals and objectives.
  • Training and Practice Sessions: Plan, develop, and implement training and practice sessions that cater to the needs of athletes or teams.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Motivate and prepare athletes or teams for competitive events or games, and participate in coaching clinic instruction.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze and evaluate athletes' or team's performance, and observe and evaluate prospective athletes' skills and performance.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrate leadership skills, work effectively in a team environment, and maintain a positive and supportive attitude towards colleagues and athletes.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but relevant experience is essential.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role is required.
  • Work Environment: The successful candidate will work in an air-conditioned environment with a focus on table tennis.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: The candidate must be able to stand for extended periods, have attention to detail, and possess hand-eye coordination.
  • Personal Suitability: The successful candidate must demonstrate leadership, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, interpersonal awareness, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, values, and ethics.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Hours: The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week.
