We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Physiotherapist to join our team at Mariposa Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' physical abilities, examining patients, planning physiotherapy programs, and selecting appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations. They will also maintain clinical and progress reports, confer with other health professionals, and teach and/or supervise exercises to patients.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients' physical abilities and develop personalized treatment plans
- Examine patients to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies for rehabilitation
- Plan and implement physiotherapy programs to promote recovery and improve function
- Confer with other health professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients to promote independence and self-management
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical and progress reports
- Current registration with the relevant provincial or territorial authority
- Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or a related field
- Experience working in a sports therapy, pre and post-natal care, orthopedics, oncology, manipulative therapy, private practice, or rehabilitation centre and special health institution setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
