Loss Prevention Officer

London Drugs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will be responsible for conducting surveillance, investigations, and maintenance of loss prevention systems at our store locations.
Responsibilities:- Conduct surveillance and investigations to identify areas of loss and develop strategies to reduce shrinkage
- Maintain and repair loss prevention systems, including cameras and alarms
- Collaborate with the Loss Prevention team to develop and implement shrink reduction plans
- Identify and apprehend individuals committing criminal offenses against the company
- Secure evidence, prepare reports, and testify in court as needed
- Perform special assignments, including lock repair, key control, and staff awareness and orientation
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a loss prevention or security role
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and own vehicle
