Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage our financial records, prepare cheques for payroll, and maintain general ledgers and financial statements. The ideal candidate will have experience with accounting software, MS Excel, and MS Word, and be proficient in Sage Accounting Software.

Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Manage accounts payable
  • Manage accounts receivable
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
