About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join our team at EightSix Network. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, as well as implementing new processes to improve financial reporting efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the month-end process, including reporting for entities of the group, consolidation process, and year-end review and audit processes under ASPE.
  • Investigate and implement new processes to improve the timeliness and accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Manage inventory costing and coordinate with the business to investigate issues.
  • Document all processes and procedures, ensuring up-to-date documentation and appropriate controls for all financial processes under your responsibility.
  • Provide monthly profit-and-loss analytics for management's use, and review the monthly balance sheet binders.
  • Standardize data across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and government audits.

Requirements

  • CPA designation
  • Years of experience leading and managing a team
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to develop strategic business relationships
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
