Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Service Express Agent to join our team at The Westin Ottawa. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer and respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate the hotel's telephone switchboard, processing guest requests and connecting calls to the appropriate extension.
  • Receive, record, and relay messages accurately, ensuring seamless communication between guests and hotel staff.
  • Log all guest requests or issues into the computer system, contacting the relevant department to resolve the issue.
  • Provide information to guests about room features, property amenities, and local attractions.
  • Process room service orders, answer questions on menu selection, and record transactions in the point-of-sale system.
  • Assist guests with accessing internet and guestroom entertainment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No related work experience necessary, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, with occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
