Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily site operations
  • Engage in project initiation meetings to assess scope and identify potential risks
  • Ensure adherence to Occupational Health and Safety regulations alongside NIACON's safety protocols
  • Manage all personnel on site
  • Coordinate activities of various trade contractors
  • Uphold high standards of craftsmanship and productivity, ensuring safe and effective use of labor, machinery, and materials
  • Support project cost management as directed by the Project Manager
  • Assist in the creation, monitoring, and updating of the overall project timeline
  • Prepare a two-week work forecast
  • Update project schedules on a weekly basis
  • Direct site operations to meet project timelines
  • Assist with monthly project evaluations
  • Maintain site documentation in line with NIACON standards
  • Organize regular meetings for trades and safety, documenting and distributing minutes via Procore
  • Keep a daily job site log in Procore
  • Help resolve design challenges, change orders, material issues, and equipment concerns
  • Act as NIACON's representative during Ministry of Labour site inspections
  • Ensure a safe, organized, and pleasant work environment on site

Required Skills:

  • Proficient computer skills, with a strong command of Procore and MS Project
  • In-depth knowledge of construction practices and technologies
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong organizational capabilities
  • Familiarity with Health and Safety regulations pertinent to the construction sector
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and other technical documents
  • Robust problem-solving skills
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing personal workload
  • Team-oriented mindset.

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience in construction projects valued between $3-10 million in the ICI sector
  • Proven track record of maintaining safety standards
  • Experience with Procore and Microsoft Project is advantageous

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Compensation: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 annually
