Job Title: Patient Transfer Attendant

Voyago is seeking a Patient Transfer Attendant to join our team in Owen Sound. As a Patient Transfer Attendant, you will be responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residence.

Your Role:
  • Transport patients safely and efficiently
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
  • Valid First Responder Certification or Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant Certification
  • Valid CPR and First Aid (Level C)
  • Valid G class driving license
  • Ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner
  • Effective communication in both verbal and written English
  • Safe driving record
  • Clean criminal record search and/or vulnerable sector screening
  • Up-to-date immunization records
