Our esteemed Crown Corporation client is seeking an Intermediate Oracle HCM Reporting Specialist with 3-5 years of relevant experience in the following areas:

Essential Skills:

  1. Proficient in generating reports within Oracle HCM Cloud utilizing OTBI tools, Oracle Queries, HCM extracts, and BI Publisher.
  2. In-depth knowledge of Oracle HCM Database Schema, including tables and fields.
  3. Experience in crafting fast formulas using the embedded tools in Oracle HCM.

Position Overview: Under the general guidance of the Applications Architect for ERP Solutions, this role involves compiling and analyzing data, constructing reports, and providing strategic recommendations aimed at enhancing player retention and boosting revenue growth. The position ensures compliance with all policies and procedures, fosters a motivating environment, and promotes learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Oracle Report Developer for the Oracle Cloud ERP.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and developers to create report designs.
  • Adhere to Oracle BI development best practices for BI applications.
  • Develop Oracle BI Reports that encompass cross-functional analysis.
  • Create custom fast formulas to tailor payroll calculations and other functionalities to meet business needs.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive reports, dashboards, and scorecards using Business Intelligence tools like OTBI to facilitate evidence-based decision-making.
  • Design and develop multiple custom reports aligned with business user requirements.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ascertain requirements for data, reports, analyses, metadata, training, service levels, data quality, and performance. Respond promptly to requests for ad hoc analyses and reports.
  • Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Work with teams to integrate systems and resolve issues.
  • Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation.
  • Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure adherence to all data management policies and procedures, including those related to Crown Corporation partners.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree in a relevant field such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics, economics, business, or statistics, with a focus on business intelligence and analytics.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in business intelligence or data analytics.
  • Effective communication skills in written and verbal English to convey analytical insights to stakeholder groups.
  • Familiarity with statistical concepts supporting analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with OTBI, Fast Formula, SQL, SSRS, Cognos, and HCM is advantageous.
  • A curious analytical mindset, strong attention to detail, and a quick learning ability, with a willingness to work in a strictly regulated data management environment.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
