Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at SSP Canada. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing delicious dishes for our guests and ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food to a high standard, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Receive food orders and manage kitchen inventory to minimize waste.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring prompt and accurate food delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a full-service kitchen environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Food handlers permit, as required by law.
- Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods.
