**Job Summary**
At SSP Canada, we are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to high standards, using fresh ingredients and following established recipes.
- Ensure a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Work effectively as part of a team, communicating with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain a high level of productivity, meeting deadlines and managing workload efficiently.
- Participate in menu planning and development, suggesting new ideas and contributing to the creation of innovative dishes.
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience working in a full-service kitchen environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic mathematical skills and ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Food handlers permit, as required by law.
- Brand Certification, as required.
- Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of time.
