Job Title: Extruding Machine Operator Shift Leader

Overview: The Extruding Machine Operator Shift Leader is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of personnel engaged in the operation of extrusion machinery, ensuring adherence to established protocols and client specifications, while reporting directly to the Extrusion Department Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, coordinate, and manage the scheduling of Plastic Processing Extruding Machine Operators
  • Develop strategies to achieve production timelines
  • Propose initiatives to improve efficiency and product standards
  • Conduct training sessions for team members
  • Compile and present production documentation
  • Operate extrusion machinery as required

Qualifications:

  • Completion of Secondary Education or equivalent experience
  • Preferred post-secondary education in scientific disciplines or plastics technology
  • Several years of experience within the manufacturing sector
  • A willingness to acquire new skills and engage in training programs
  • Attention to detail and manual dexterity are essential
  • Successful completion of a medical examination and background check
  • Proficiency in the English language
