About the Role

Nelson Industrial Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for optimizing production processes, ensuring quality control, and driving efficiency across our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Optimization: Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, manage stockroom operations, and implement just-in-time inventory systems to minimize waste and optimize storage.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to production staff on new processes, equipment, and procedures to ensure a high level of skill and knowledge.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to processes, procedures, and equipment to drive continuous improvement and excellence.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with a focus on process optimization and quality control.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
