Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out work study to optimize production processes
  • Develop and conduct production, inventory, and quality assurance programs
  • Inspect processes to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Oversee production to meet deadlines and quality targets
  • Set machine or equipment controls to optimize performance
  • Design plant layouts and production facilities to improve efficiency
  • Conduct work measurement or other studies to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and carry out health, safety, and fire prevention plans
  • Conduct safety training programs to ensure employee compliance
  • Develop computer applications for machines and processes to improve efficiency
  • Collect and compile operational or experimental data to inform decision-making
  • Collect and analyze data and samples to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop manufacturing and processing procedures to ensure consistency and quality
  • Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports to inform business decisions
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand production requirements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities
