Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen Topsail Road.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures. This role will also involve hiring food service staff, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and preparing budget and cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Hire food service staff
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Establish work schedules
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Client focus, flexibility, team player, and initiative
