Job Title: User Support Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced User Support Technician to join our team at Travelodge by Wyndham Downtown Barrie. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our guests and staff, ensuring that our computer systems and networks are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems and networks.
  • Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Supervise other technical support workers in this group.
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations.
  • Provide customer service.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent position, 30 hours per week.
  • Language of work: English.
