Role Summary

We are looking for a dynamic leader who possesses a strong enthusiasm for sales and customer engagement. The ideal candidate will oversee the sales department, ensuring excellence in customer relations, sales strategies, and team development.

Reporting directly to the Director of Sales for Alberta and Saskatchewan, you will be instrumental in enhancing the profitability and operational efficiency of our sales division while creating a welcoming atmosphere for our clientele.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Sales Consultants on the sales floor, offering support and guidance to streamline the sales process.
  • Manage short ship situations, working diligently to resolve discrepancies and promptly inform affected customers.
  • Oversee Sales Department Profitability:
    • Provide direction and insights to Sales Consultants to enhance deal-making strategies and pricing.
    • Implement proactive strategies to identify and seize sales opportunities.
  • Staffing, Training, and Development:
    • Supervise, mentor, and motivate the sales team, cultivating a culture of excellence and ongoing improvement.
    • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with each sales team member, documenting and discussing outcomes with senior leadership.
    • Establish a structured training program for Sales Consultants covering essential topics such as product knowledge and sales techniques.
    • Coordinate with the payroll department to relay all relevant pay-related information for direct reports.
    • Assign team members to the role of Floor Whip in two-hour intervals daily to ensure a proactive presence on the sales floor.
Qualifications

While previous sales management experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. Candidates should possess intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in relevant software applications.
