Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and calculate the quantity and cost of food supplies and ingredients
  • Maintain comprehensive records of food expenses, usage, sales, and inventory
  • Oversee the activities of specialized chefs, cooks, and kitchen personnel
  • Innovate and develop new recipes
  • Guide and manage kitchen staff and cooks
  • Regularly prepare and cook meals, including for special events
  • Order food and kitchen supplies as needed
  • Plan and coordinate food preparation and cooking for multiple dining establishments
  • Design menus that meet quality standards and customer expectations
  • Prepare meals accommodating food allergies and dietary restrictions
  • Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety protocols
