Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Samosa Joes. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are sanitized and stored properly, and assisting with food preparation and service.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits
- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
- Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
- Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
- Assist with cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment and surfaces
- Restock refrigerators and salad bars
- Assist with serving customers at counters or buffet tables
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
