Bakery Manager

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Manager to join our team at D Spot Dessert Cafe. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality baked goods, managing inventory, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the preparation and baking of dough, batters, and icings according to recipes and customer orders
- Train and supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff
- Ensure the quality of products meets established standards
- Organize and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies
- Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees
- Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth
- Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
- Offer mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
