As a Sanitation Operator III, your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our facilities maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and cleanliness. Reporting directly to the Sanitation Supervisor, you will be responsible for executing daily and weekly cleaning assignments that are essential for food safety and operational efficiency. We value candidates who are reliable, detail-oriented, and possess mechanical skills. This essential position is crucial for supporting our cohesive team and upholding the sanitation schedule and cleanliness of our advanced production areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute all daily and weekly tasks as outlined in the sanitation schedule and in accordance with SSOPs.
  • Carry out specific tasks related to the weekly cleaning of production lines.
  • Operate cleaning equipment safely and responsibly, reporting any damaged or unsafe tools to the team leader or supervisor.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned in preparation for inspections and tours.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of completed tasks.
  • Communicate any obstacles or safety issues to the Supervisor or Manager.
  • Collaborate with fellow sanitation operators to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols as trained.
  • Uphold the required hygiene, safety, and quality standards on the production floor.
  • Undertake other responsibilities as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D is mandatory.
  • Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and making minor equipment adjustments is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a cleaning or sanitation role is advantageous.
  • Strong mechanical skills are essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Willingness to work a rotating continental shift schedule, including two weeks of day shifts and two weeks of night shifts (7-7).
