Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Supervise a team of 11-15 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their job responsibilities and providing excellent customer service.
- Operational Management: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure that our cafe and bar runs efficiently and effectively.
- Customer Service: Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, addressing any complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Marketing and Sales: Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote our cafe and bar and attract new customers.
- Inventory and Supplies: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that our cafe and bar complies with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food service industry.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
Ruex Cafe and Bar is a fast-paced environment that requires strong organizational and communication skills. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be working in a physically demanding environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and managing a large workload.
