Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Equipment Installer to join our team at Wesbell Communications Inc. as a Network Infrastructure Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, arranging, removing, and maintaining telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Repair and Troubleshooting: Repair or replace defective telephone equipment and test installed telephone systems to locate transmission faults.
  • Work Site Environment: Work outdoors and at heights, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Transportation and Travel: Possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel, with a vehicle supplied by the employer.
  • Physical Demands: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate strong judgement, organization, teamwork, and accuracy in your work.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field, or equivalent experience.
  • Screening Questions: Be available for the advertised start date, have previous experience in the field, and possess a high level of study completion.
