About the Role

The Accounting/Reporting Analyst plays a pivotal financial role in supporting business units and stakeholders. This position requires complex transactional support for financial and operational processes within a full accounting cycle.

Key Responsibilities

Analysis and Reporting

  • Collaborate with project delivery and property management teams to compile and analyze data for budgets, forecasts, and ad hoc reporting.
  • Work with large data sets to create reports and identify trends and leading indicator analysis.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and complete records for audits.
  • Prepare memos and provide variance explanations, summarize findings, and recommendations.

Accounting

  • Perform reconciliation of the Purchase Order (PO) process for the portfolio to ensure full compliance.
  • Validate accurate costing code and process Business Expenses for payment.
  • Review and approve project budgets and client work authorizations for accuracy and ensure timely completion.
  • Research outstanding balances on invoices and statements.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly invoices and billing file preparation.
  • Compile and post month-end entries.
  • Set up Accounts Receivable and Receipts Journal Voucher and upload to internal system.
  • Prepare spreadsheet for monthly A/R revenues and receipts and enter into system.
  • Update Billing Report with Current YTD information.
  • Other tasks and duties as required.

Requirements

  • More than one year, up to three years of job-related experience.
  • Undergraduate University degree in Accounting, Computer Science, MIS, or Finance.
  • High-level proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
