About the Role

Foyer Savoie Inc. is seeking a skilled Nurse Aide to join our team in providing exceptional patient care and support. As a Nurse Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Daily Living Activities
    • Help patients with bathing, dressing, and grooming
    • Assist with feeding and serving meal trays
  • Provide Personal Care
    • Help patients with toileting and incontinence care
    • Assist with transferring patients to and from wheelchairs or beds
  • Support with Medical Care
    • Take patients' vital signs, such as temperature and blood pressure
    • Assist with administering medications
  • Maintain a Safe and Clean Environment
    • Help keep patients' rooms clean and tidy
    • Assist with laundry and linen services
  • Communicate Effectively
    • Listen to patients' concerns and report to nursing staff
    • Communicate with patients' families and caregivers
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Language
    • Fluency in English or French
  • Work Schedule
    • 40 hours per week
