Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Hire and manage food service staff to meet the needs of our restaurant.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food meets quality control standards by monitoring inventory, preparing food order summaries, and supervising food preparation.
    • Implement methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service by supervising and checking the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure the efficient operation of our restaurant.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
    • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a 35 to 44 hour workweek. The language of work is English.
