This role will be responsible for leading our Canadian sales team and developing strategies to achieve maximum sales volume for our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement sales strategies to capitalize on the strength of our product portfolio, sales force, and agency network
- Establish market and target customer strategies in conjunction with the sales leadership team
- Maintain key customer relationships and develop strategies for increasing penetration within our addressable market
- Lead, develop, inspire, and motivate the sales and agency teams to achieve sales goals and initiatives
- Manage the overall sales process, setting appropriate metrics for sales pipeline management
- Oversee the recruiting, hiring, and development of the sales organization
- Implement company promotions and marketing initiatives to achieve goals for the Canadian distribution network
- Successful track record of performance, effective sales leadership, and motivation with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- ~10 years of experience in the lighting/electrical industry
- ~Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related fields
- Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce
