Job Title: Chief Executive Officer

As the Chief Executive Officer of the Department of Labour, Skills and Immigration, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the organization and leading its execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and manage the overall operation and administration of the Board
  • Lead the development and implementation of the Board's strategic and operational planning
  • Oversee the case management process of the Labour Board, ensuring cases are processed in a timely manner
  • Review and analyze metrics on Board performance standards/measures
  • Develop and implement new administrative policies and procedures for the Board
Requirements:
  • Law degree or undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline
  • Five years of relevant work experience
  • Labour and employee relations experience, including experience with legal research and interpretation of labour and employment legislation
  • Effective leadership and team building skills
  • Strong strategic and operational planning skills
