About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Estate and Trust Lead to join our team at MD Financial Management. As a key member of our Wealth Planning and Trust Services team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our clients and advisors on complex estate and trust planning matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement estate and trust planning strategies to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to our advisors on estate and trust planning matters.
  • Collaborate with our Wealth Planning and Trust Services team to deliver exceptional client service and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in estate and trust legislation and regulations, and provide recommendations to our team on how to adapt our services accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to enhance our estate and trust planning services.
Requirements
  • Member in good standing of the Chambre des notaires du Québec or the Quebec Bar association.
  • Proven experience in the estate and trust industry, including the regulatory environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of estate and trust law, including related Quebec Civil law.
  • Dynamic written and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work non-standard hours and travel as required.
  • Fluency in both French and English is required.
