Position Overview

Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, the Forklift Operator (Material Handler) is responsible for executing various warehouse operations, which may encompass loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.

Compensation: $22.75 per hour plus a $1.00 premium for night shifts

Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and operating forklifts.
  • Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
  • Manage daily paperwork associated with warehouse operations, including picking sheets and bills of lading.
  • Adhere to performance measurement guidelines established in the contract.
  • Undertake additional related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Forklift Operator's License is required.
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of relevant warehousing experience is necessary.
  • Familiarity with automated pick and pack systems is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of automated warehouse management systems (PKMS) is a plus.
  • Experience using RF scanners.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Strong command of the English language is essential.
  • Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 pounds.
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods.
  • Team-oriented mindset and ability to thrive in a diverse work environment.

  • Punctuality and a solid attendance record.
  • Initiative and capability to work with minimal supervision.
