About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at Canyon Creek Golf Course and Camping. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough and batters for a range of baked goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and sweet treats.
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient production.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to meet established quality standards.
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to add a touch of elegance.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand.
  • Ensure the quality of products meets our high standards.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Oversee the sales and merchandising of baked goods to drive revenue growth.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Permanent employment with a competitive salary and benefits package.
  • 40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
