We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering and Technical Design Manager to lead our team of engineers and designers in the development of innovative retail display and in-store merchandising solutions. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the technical design and engineering aspects of our business, ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Design and Engineering Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to our engineering and design teams, ensuring that our solutions are designed and engineered to meet the needs of our clients and the market.
- Project Management: Collaborate with our project management team to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead, develop, and mentor our engineering and design teams, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop in their careers.
- Business Development: Work closely with our business development team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.
- Education and Experience: A degree in Mechanical or Industrial Design or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in POP/Retail Design as a Senior Designer or Manager.
- Technical Skills: Excellent understanding of Materials and Processes commonly used within the industry, proficiency with Design Development software, including CAD, Word Processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional ability to foster strong internal and client relationships, building out your understanding of business objectives and contributing to strategies.
