About the Role

As a Bookkeeping Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns, including corporate and personal tax returns.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including financial statements, management reports, and other financial information.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. The ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail is essential.
