Position Overview

The role of a Material Handler involves the efficient management of products and materials within a warehouse or distribution center. This position is crucial for maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring that operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Responsible for loading, unloading, and relocating products and materials using manual methods or basic handling equipment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate various machinery to facilitate the movement of materials and products.
  • Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and stock orders as required.
  • Weight Measurement: Weigh materials and goods to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Labeling: Create and affix labels to goods for identification and tracking.
  • Packing and Unpacking: Efficiently pack and unpack goods to prepare for distribution.
  • Sorting and Stacking: Sort, crate, and stack goods in an organized manner.
  • Transportation: Transport and distribute materials and goods within the facility.
Qualifications
  • Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: On-the-job training will be provided.
  • Employment Duration: Permanent position.
  • Language Requirements: Proficiency in English or French is preferred.
