The York Region District School Board is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Assistant to work with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. As a key member of our educational team, you will provide essential support to students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, facilitating their academic and social success
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans
- Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure seamless support and coordination
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in supporting students with hearing impairments
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
