Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy food service environment.
- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and motivate our food service team to ensure that they are working together effectively to provide excellent customer service and food quality.
- Train Staff: Provide comprehensive training to new staff members on job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and ensure that we have sufficient stock.
- Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet the highest quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers feel valued and satisfied.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our inventory management and budgeting decisions.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on key performance indicators, such as sales, customer satisfaction, and staff performance.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers and orders.
- Combination of Sitting, Standing, and Walking: Spend most of the day on your feet, with regular breaks to sit and rest.
- Standing for Extended Periods: Stand for extended periods, potentially up to 8 hours per day.
- Client Focus: Demonstrate a strong client focus, prioritizing customer satisfaction and ensuring that our customers feel valued and respected.
- Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers, ensuring that our team works together seamlessly to deliver exceptional results.
- Excellent Oral Communication: Possess excellent oral communication skills, able to effectively communicate with customers, staff, and management to ensure that our team is working together efficiently.
- Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, able to adjust to changing circumstances and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Player: Work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
- Immediate Settlement Needs: Assist newcomers and refugees with their immediate settlement needs, such as housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.
- Recruitment: Recruit newcomers and refugees who were displaced by conflict or natural disaster, providing them with opportunities to integrate into our community.
- Foreign Credential Recognition: Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition, helping them to access education and employment opportunities.
