About the Job:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Interior Health Authority, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Your expertise will be sought after to perform assessments, plan, implement, and provide personal and nursing care to patients in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures
• Operate within the scope of practice as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
• Collaborate with the team to provide comprehensive care to patients

About this Opportunity:

This is a relief full-time opportunity until July 29, 2024, or the return of the incumbent. Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights, rotating from 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 hours. You will be part of a supportive team environment in a 28-bed unit, with 18 monitored telemetry beds and 10 acute medical beds. The unit offers a mix of high acuity patients, medical, and cardiac telemetry, including surgical patients requiring cardiac monitoring pre or post-op and step-down patients from ICU.
