We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Ambleside Tuck Shop. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Merchandise Management
- Order and receive merchandise in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure accurate inventory levels and manage stockroom operations
- Sales and Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
- Meet or exceed sales targets and promote products to customers
- Team Management
- Supervise and train cashiers and other retail staff to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance
- Coordinate staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage during peak periods
- Store Operations
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the stockroom and display areas
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience
- 7 months to less than 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role
- Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds is required.
