We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Hercules SLR. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of inventory, shipments, and customer orders.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments with transport companies, ensuring all required paperwork is complete and accurate.
- Ship customer orders and branch transfers, verifying all necessary documentation is in order.
- Obtain rate and spot quotes for shipments, negotiating with transport companies as needed.
- Track shipments and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Receive, unload, sort, and accurately process incoming orders and inter-company transfers.
- Maintain accurate bin locations for all goods in the warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory management.
- Perform repetitive tasks involving hand and wrist movements, including gripping, twisting, pulling, and pushing.
- Frequently bend and twist to access inventory and equipment.
- Lift up to 50 pounds from floor level to waist level, and climb ladders to access high shelves.
- Stand for extended periods on various floor surfaces, including concrete and steel.
**Requirements**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment.
- Proficiency in computer software and attention to detail.
- Previous training in forklift operation is an asset.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
