Job Overview: Culinary Operations Supervisor

As a key member of our team at Kettle Drums, the Culinary Operations Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department. This position requires a strong leader who can manage staff effectively and maintain high standards of food quality and service.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement work schedules to optimize staff productivity
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of food preparation and portioning staff
  • Provide training to employees on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols
  • Calculate and order necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste
  • Prepare and submit operational reports as required
  • Possess knowledge of various culinary styles relevant to the establishment
  • Establish effective work schedules for the team
