About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tooling Inspector to join our team at JASP Manufacturing. As a Tooling Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and Lay Out Work Pieces: Measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly, ensuring accurate and precise measurements.
  • Read and Interpret Engineering Drawings: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand product specifications and requirements.
  • Set Up and Adjust Production Machinery: Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance and quality.
  • Document and Report Deviations: Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, ensuring prompt corrective action is taken.
  • Maintain Inspection Records: Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records, including inspection reports and test results.
  • Verify Dimensions of Parts: Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Operate Machine Tools: Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-quality products.
  • Verify Product Dimensions: Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
