Position Overview

As a Cashier at Wilson Pharmacy, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while managing transactions efficiently. This position requires no formal education, and we are willing to train the right candidate.

Work Environment

You will be working in a pharmacy or drugstore setting, where you will be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions.
  • Process various forms of payment including cash, cheques, and credit/debit cards.
  • Scan items and ensure accurate pricing.
  • Calculate total payments for goods or services rendered.
  • Receive payments and provide change as necessary.
  • Reconcile daily or shift payments with total sales.
  • Restock shelves and maintain cleanliness in the counter area.
  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Monitor store entrances and exits, ensuring proof of payment is provided when required.
Transportation and Travel

Public transportation options are readily available for commuting to work.

Physical Requirements

This role is set in a fast-paced environment and may involve:

  • Handling heavy loads.
  • Maintaining attention to detail.
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed.
