Job Title: Cashier Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier Assistant to join our team at Wilson Pharmacy. As a Cashier Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cash wrap and stockroom
  • Restock shelves and facing as needed
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including counting tills and balancing the cash register

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail or customer service experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
