CB Canada is seeking a skilled Cyber Security Program Manager to oversee critical initiatives in the telecommunications sector.

Role Overview

  • Drive and manage the transformation of the Security Operations Center (SOC), focusing on automation and the roadmap for security controls from a strategic, operational, and financial viewpoint.
  • Assist in the development and oversight of the financial strategy and annual budget for the security program, including forecasting, tracking, and comprehensive reporting.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks while ensuring effective reporting and delivery of outcomes.
  • Promote and implement agile methodologies and scrum practices within the team, facilitating planning sessions, managing Kanban boards, and leading retrospectives.
  • Monitor and enhance the overall security posture by generating relevant metrics and spearheading various associated projects.
  • Engage in the ongoing enhancement of security standards and practices.
  • Oversee the creation and deployment of innovative technological solutions and assess their impact on the security landscape.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, information technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in strategic planning.
  • At least 3 years' experience in project or program management within Security, Network, or IT technology solutions.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated learner with the ability to grasp new methodologies, frameworks, and technologies quickly.
  • High adaptability to ambiguity and a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a talent for devising solutions to complex challenges.
  • Proven leadership capabilities and business insight.
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills across multiple projects.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5 years' experience in the cybersecurity field, particularly in leading cybersecurity projects and programs.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is an asset.
