About the Role

The Senior Business Consultant, SAP Finance, is a key member of Talan's SAP Finance team and plays a crucial role in the digital transformation of our clients.

As an expert in financial solutions, you will be responsible for:

  • Participating in client needs analysis to propose and implement tailored SAP Finance solutions.
  • Collaborating closely with logistics, technical, project management, and client teams to ensure seamless integration of developed solutions.
  • Providing basic technical support to project teams throughout implementation.
  • Guiding and mentoring junior or intermediate consultants on projects.
  • Acting as a financial expert for clients and colleagues in sales cycles.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.
  • Have a deep understanding of financial processes in manufacturing, distribution, and logistics contexts.
  • 8 years of experience in SAP project implementation and SAP financial modules.
  • Delivered several complete S/4HANA Finance projects.
  • Proficient in MS-Office tools.
  • Communication: Possess excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English to communicate with clients across Canada.

  • Demonstrate leadership, integrity, autonomy, and resilience.
  • Hold a professional certification (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA, or equivalent) is an asset.
