KUBRA Data Transfer Ltd is seeking a Senior Security Architect to enhance our Information Security division.

In this pivotal role, you will provide expert guidance and consultancy in the design, optimization, and maintenance of a secure computing landscape, focusing on application and cloud security. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring that security protocols are established, implemented, and evaluated for KUBRA's on-premises and online services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct security architecture evaluations and offer suggestions to bolster the security framework of KUBRA's applications, databases, and cloud infrastructures.
  • Execute regular testing, code evaluations, and security audits of applications owned by KUBRA.
  • Oversee cloud security mechanisms for change and configuration management, recommending enhancements to strengthen overall security.
  • Collaborate with DevSecOps, Application, and Infrastructure teams to address vulnerabilities or issues in accordance with security protocols.
  • Remain informed about current cybersecurity threats and assess trends to proactively mitigate risks.
  • Formulate a comprehensive organizational data strategy aligned with business operations and contractual obligations.
  • Capable of provisioning secure cloud environments utilizing Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies.
  • Identify and advise on suitable controls based on industry standards (e.g., CCM) to establish a security solutions framework addressing business risks and cloud-native threats.
  • Engage in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to evaluate security requirements and controls, ensuring their implementation as intended.
  • Continuously assess emerging threats in the cloud to determine their impact on IT and business, developing and executing security measures accordingly.
  • Ensure that logging and monitoring of all critical infrastructure components are effectively implemented.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Proficient in analyzing and discerning relevant logs/security incidents.
  • Adept at managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Skilled in planning and overseeing complex security initiatives, meeting established deadlines.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to perform under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Required Qualifications:
  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in Cloud Security Architecture.
  • 5+ years of experience in Information Security Risk and industry best practices.
  • 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps and/or DevOps, focusing on security tool automation.
  • In-depth knowledge of Application and Cloud Security.
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture principles and best practices.
  • Understanding of ISO27001, NIST, PCI, SOC, and similar standards.
Preferred Certifications:
  • SABSA (Sherwood Applied Business Security Architecture).
  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
  • CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional).
  • AWS Solution Architect Professional.
